A body of work completed and exhibited at Milford Galleries in Dunedin in 2002. These works conform to a warm palette of orange, rich yellows and flesh pinks. The series title reflects two of the main themes: Typography expressed in pictorial terms and the social and psychological implications of relationships. Despite the series title and palette the subjects are not sentimental or romantic but often express irony and dark humour.
